10 Tips To Alkaline Your Diet

#1. Eat more veggies and fruits. This one step can instantly make a big difference.
#2. Reduce your soda pop intake, or eliminate it from your diet.
#3. Drink 64 ounces of high-mineral spring water daily from the source.
#4. Replace refined carbs with roots and gourds.
#5. Consider cooking with sea vegetables.
#6. Add lemon and lime to your water. We typically think of citrus fruit as acidic, but they are highly-alkaline in the body, especially in limes.
#7. Limit your animal protein (beef, chicken, pork, eggs, and dairy, to a serving per day or less, and increase plant-based protein in your diet.
#8. Add cinnamon, ginger, and other herbs and spices to your everyday diet.
#9. Monitor your urinary pH.
#10. Supplement your diet with high-quality multi-vitamins and minerals.
Changing your diet can be challenging, so the idea isn’t to try all of the above at once, but to challenge yourself to do the easiest one first, and then continue to challenge yourself to change one habit at a time. You also don’t have to eat completely alkaline. Try the 80/20 rule and see if that works for your lifestyle.
In the long run, small changes are what leads to change, so continue to make small changes that will end up giving you the most progress.
